My feelings about world peace are varied in a lot of ways. Sometimes I feel like one idea is better than the other, but both can solve the problem. World peace would be an incredible thing to achieve especially in today's world, because their are so many tools that an individual could use to diminish someone or something in any type of way. I think it's possible in a lot of ways, but their are so many little things that hurt those chances of obtaining world peace. Not only would government's have to compromise all around the world, but every person has their own opinion on what they think is right and wrong. So it could be possible, but realistically it's not, because in today's world their are too many things that will hold us back from obtaining world peace. If I wanted to follow a movement for obtaining world peace, I would first start from the ground up and slowly make my way to the top. I would simply voice my opinion to politicians in my city and work my way up, and hopefully they could agree with me on some topics. I wouldn't be willing to put in time unless I know for a fact that the outcome will be success, but it never hurts to try something. World peace is obtainable, but in my opinion it's hard to overcome barriers we have today in our modern society.

After watching the TED video it didn't really affect my opinion, but he had some interesting points in the statistic part of the presentation. The numbers he was showing were crazy to me, because one individual can make that much of a difference. It's all about the amount of time you put into achieving your goal, that's how you actually end up accomplishing it. Also the people in my group who I was working with all agreed on how it is not possible. Their are just to many factors that come into play, when discussing world peace.
